Railway board member for traffic assumes charge

New Delhi, Aug 4 Indian Railways on Monday announced that Kundan Sinha, the new member for traffic segment on its board, has assumed charge.
“Sinha has assumed additional charge of the post as of August 1, 2015,” railways was quoted as saying in a statement.
Currently, Sinha also holds the position of additional member (traffic transportation) on the board.
According to the railways, Sinha joined the railway board in 1990. He has also served in the ministry of chemicals and fertilizers on central deputation in 1995.
“He has handled a whole gamut of assignments in RITES (Rail India Technical and Economic Services) and on eastern, south east central and south eastern railways in various capacities,” the statement added.
