New Delhi, Feb 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared an article by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, which discusses artificial intelligence, India’s role in the AI landscape, and Vucic’s admiration for India.
Vucic expressed excitement about attending the AI Impact Summit 2026 in India, praising the country’s ability to maintain unity in diversity and reflecting on his positive experiences with Indian individuals during his earlier life in London.
He rebutted claims at the World Economic Forum that India is a “second tier” AI power, highlighting India’s focus on practical applications of AI and its commitment to inclusive innovation.
Vucic emphasized the significance of the AI Impact Summit as a platform for promoting responsible AI deployment and noted the long-standing, cooperative relationship between Serbia and India, underpinned by mutual respect and shared economic interests.
He acknowledged India’s support for Serbia’s territorial integrity and called for enhanced trade and investment, particularly in high-growth sectors like IT and renewable energy.
