New Delhi, Sep 8  State-owned oil marketing firms on Saturday evening resumed fuel supply to national carrier Air India at six airports.

Accordingly, the fuel supply which had been stopped on August 22 was restarted after an agreement was reached over payment obligations.

The OMCs led by the IndianOil had stopped jet fuel supply at six airports — Ranchi, Mohali, Patna, Vizag, Pune and Cochin following non-payment of dues.

“The fuel supply to Air India was recommenced from Saturday evening at all the six airports. An agreement over payment obligations was reached,” a senior official with an OMC told IANS here.
