NTPC-SAIL Power Company Pvt Ltd (NSPCL), a joint venture of two Maharatnas NTPC and SAIL , paid interim dividend of Rs. 80.00 crore after tax which is 8.16% of equity capital for financial year 2014-15. Manash Sarkar, CEO, NSPCL and S V Shahi ,CFO, NSPCL presented a dividend cheque of Rs. 40.00 crore to Dr. Arup Roy Choudhury, CMD, NTPC and Directors of NTPC today in New Delhi.
NSPCL has been a dividend paying company ever since its inception in March 2001. Company recorded a total income of Rs.1669.04 crore during April-December’2014 with profit before tax (PBT) at Rs.174.45 crore.
