NHPC celebrates 74th Republic Day

Faridabad, Jan 26 : NHPC celebrated India’s 74th Republic Day with great enthusiasm on 26^th January 2023. The celebrations began with unfurling of the National Flag by Y.K. Chaubey, Director (Technical) and Director (Personnel), NHPC and singing of National Anthem at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad. Shri R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance), NHPC along with other senior officers and employees and their family members were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Y.K. Chaubey extended his greetings to the entire NHPC family on Republic Day. Chaubey said that today we must remember sacrifices of our former leaders and freedom fighters of our nation. He further informed that NHPC is playing a key role in the Indian power sector and is generating more than 7 GW of power through its 25 power stations. Chaubey also said that NHPC currently has 14 projects under construction of total 7601 MW capacity and projects of more than 7000 MW under various stages of clearance. Chaubey appealed to all NHPC employees to work with total dedication and perform their duties with full determination. The programme was also broadcasted live across all NHPC locations through web casting.

एनएचपीसी ने 74वां गणतंत्र दिवस मनाया

एनएचपीसी ने 26 जनवरी 2023 को बड़े हर्षोल्लास के साथ भारत का 74वां गणतंत्र दिवस मनाया। एनएचपीसी निगम मुख्यालय, फरीदाबाद में समारोह की शुरुआत श्री वाई.के. चौबे, निदेशक (तकनीकी) व निदेशक (कार्मिक), एनएचपीसी द्वारा राष्ट्रध्वज फहराकर और राष्ट्रगान के साथ हुआ। श्री आर.पी. गोयल, निदेशक (वित्त), एनएचपीसी सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी और कर्मचारी व उनके परिवार के सदस्य भी इस अवसर पर उपस्थित थे।

इस अवसर पर संबोधित करते हुए, श्री वाई.के. चौबे ने पूरे एनएचपीसी परिवार को गणतंत्र दिवस की बधाई दी। श्री चौबे ने कहा कि आज हमें अपने पूर्व नेताओं और देश के स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के बलिदान को याद रखना चाहिए। उन्होंने आगे बताया कि एनएचपीसी भारतीय विद्युत क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रही है और अपने 25 पावर स्टेशनों के माध्यम से 7 गीगावाट से अधिक बिजली का उत्पादन कर रही है। श्री चौबे ने यह भी कहा कि एनएचपीसी के पास वर्तमान में कुल 7601 मेगावाट क्षमता की 14 निर्माणाधीन परियोजनाएं हैं और 7000 मेगावाट से अधिक की परियोजनाएं मंजूरी के विभिन्न चरणों में हैं।

श्री चौबे ने एनएचपीसी के सभी कर्मचारियों से पूरी लगन के साथ काम करने और अपने कर्तव्यों का पूरी दृढ़ता के साथ पालन करने की अपील की। वेब कास्टिंग के माध्यम से कार्यक्रम का सीधा प्रसारण एनएचपीसी के सभी स्थानों पर भी किया गया।
