Modi greets Djibouti on their Independence Day

New Delhi, June 27 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted the people of Djibouti on their Independence Day.
“On Djibouti’s Independence Day, I convey my greetings and best wishes to the people of Djibouti,” Modi said.
He said that India remains grateful to Djibouti for their strong support and active cooperation to evacuate a large number of Indian nationals as well as nationals of other countries from strife-torn Yemen.
“It indicates the robustness of our ties,” the prime minister said.
Djibouti, an African country, gained independence from France on June 27, 1977.
