India’s Textile and Apparel Exports Rise in November 2025

Govt Steps In to Support Textile Sector Amid Iran War Disruptions

New Delhi, Dec 19: India’s exports of textiles and apparel, including handicrafts, stood at US$ 2,855.8 million in November 2025, registering a growth of 9.4% as compared to November 2024 (US $ 2,601.5 million).

Several key segments recorded notable growth during November 2025, as detailed below:

  • Readymade Garments (RMG): 11.3%
  • Man-made Yarn/Fabrics/Made-ups, etc.: 15.7%
  • Cotton Yarn/Fabrics/Made-ups and Handloom Products: 4.1%
  • Handicrafts (excluding handmade carpets): 29.7%

For the year 2025, the cumulative exports from January–November 2025, of textiles and apparel exports (excluding handicrafts) amounted to US$ 32,560.0 million, reflecting an increase of 0.26% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year (US $32,474.9 million).

It is noteworthy that exports of Readymade Garments (RMG) during the period January–November 2025 witnessed a growth of 3.6% over the corresponding period of the previous year. There was a growth of 6.1% during the same period for Jute products.
