A close friend of protest leader Abhijit Dipke made major claims about the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Veeru Bhai worked with the CJP protest from its first day. He now says the group is not a real public movement. Instead, he calls the protest a political sham.
Veeru Bhai claims the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secretly runs the group. He says the CJP acts as a B-team for AAP. This political connection made him leave the movement. He decided to return to his home state of Bihar.
Veeru Bhai exposes the political link
Veeru Bhai left Bihar a month ago to join the CJP. He wanted to fight for changes in the school system. His family warned him about the group. They told him that the CJP only created drama. He did not believe them at first.
He realized the truth just two days ago. Only AAP leaders came to meet Abhijit Dipke. No other political leaders visited the protest site. This detail made Veeru Bhai realize the truth. He says AAP leaders used the protest to clean up their own image.
Leader used women as shields during march
Veeru Bhai shared details about the march to Parliament on July 20. He said Abhijit Dipke intentionally put women at the front of the crowd. Dipke did this to protect himself from the police. He did not want officers to arrest him.
The police had already refused permission for the march. Officers told the protesters to stay at Jantar Mantar. Dipke ignored the police and urged the crowd to move forward. He then hid inside a truck while the crowd faced the police. All other CJP organizers ran away during the clash.
The police action hurt many protesters because of Dipke’s choices. This tactic matches the Shaheen Bagh protests of 2020. During those protests, organizers also placed women and children at the front. They used women to stop police action. Veeru Bhai now has no faith in Abhijit Dipke. He plans to go back to Bihar.
