New Delhi, January 17 On 17.01.2020, at about 0530 hrs, during Pre-Embarkation Security Check (PESC) at Security Hold Area (SHA) of Terminal-2, IGI Airport, CISF personnel detected eighty (80) numbers of new Mobile phones of Honour & Vivo from the hand bags of two foreign passengers.
They were later identified as 2 Chinese passengers, arrived from Beijing by Air China at Terminal-3, IGI Airport and onward bound for Udaipur by Indigo flight. On enquiry, they could not produce any valid document for carrying such quantity of mobile phones. The matter was informed to Customs Officials.
Later, both the foreign passengers along with recovered mobile phones were handed over to Customs Officials for further action in the matter.
