The BJP has asked why the AAP is keeping quiet about a cheating racket in Punjab. This racket ruined the pharmacy officer recruitment exam in the state.
Amit Malviya heads the BJP’s social media cell. He posted a message on X on Wednesday. In his post, Malviya pointed out that AAP leaders usually protest very loudly when people leak exam papers in other states. For example, the AAP actively protested against the central government over the NEET-UG exam paper leak. However, the AAP has not said anything about the cheating in Punjab. Malviya called this selective shouting. He asked where the AAP protesters are hiding now.
Police uncover high-tech cheating methods
The Punjab police recently stopped a big cheating network. This network helped students cheat during the pharmacy officer exam. The police arrested seven main organizers of this network. They also caught 28 candidates who tried to cheat.
This cheating network caused a major brouhaha in the state. The cheaters used very smart tools. For example, some candidates wore tiny Bluetooth earpieces. Others used hidden pen cameras to scan the exam questions. The police found 27 small wireless devices on the candidates.
In Ferozepur, the police caught a candidate named Ayush. He used a secret pen camera to photograph the test paper. Then, Ayush sent the pictures to a man named Sajan in another town. Sajan then read the answers back to Ayush through a hidden earpiece.
Candidates paid a lot of money to join this scheme. Some candidates paid ₹3.5 lakh. Others paid up to ₹13 lakh to get the answers.
The BJP also asked a tough question to the AAP. They asked if the Punjab government will punish its education minister for this mess. It’s a big problem, and the BJP wants answers. Or will the AAP change its mind and ignore the situation?
