These developments, he said, are laying the foundation for a new chapter in bilateral relations.

The Minister also congratulated other recipients of the Annual UK-India Awards for their valuable contributions towards promoting cooperation between the two countries across diverse fields.

The upcoming implementation of the India-UK CETA is expected to significantly enhance bilateral trade, improve market access for businesses, promote investment flows and strengthen cooperation in emerging sectors such as clean energy, advanced manufacturing, financial services, artificial intelligence and digital technologies.

The agreement is also expected to create new opportunities for exporters, entrepreneurs, professionals and educational institutions in both countries while reinforcing the broader strategic partnership.
