New Delhi, May 24 External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday reviewed the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership and discussed regional, global and multilateral issues of mutual interest during talks in New Delhi.

Jaishankar said the discussions covered the full spectrum of bilateral cooperation, including trade and energy, defence and security, critical minerals, artificial intelligence, nuclear cooperation, and counter-terrorism and counter-narcotics efforts. He also said he looked forward to joining counterparts from Australia, Japan and the US for the Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on Tuesday.

Addressing a joint press briefing after delegation-level talks at Hyderabad House, Jaishankar highlighted the regular engagement between New Delhi and Washington and said the strategic partnership is driven by converging national interests.
