New Delhi, April 23: The Government of India has appointed Rajesh Kumar Agarwal as Director (Finance) at Power Finance Corporation Limited, with effect from April 23, 2026.
Agarwal was serving as Executive Director (Finance) at PFC since January 2024. With over 31 years of experience in the power and financial sectors, he brings extensive expertise in corporate accounts, taxation, fund management, lending policy compliance, and asset management.
An alumnus in Commerce (Honours) and a member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, he has played a key role in driving digital reforms and strengthening financial reporting systems at PFC.
Since joining PFC in 2009, Agarwal has handled multiple cross-functional responsibilities, including fund raising and loan disbursement. Prior to this, he worked with leading power sector organisations such as NTPC Limited, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, and Delhi Transco Limited, where he contributed to tariff matters, power purchase agreements, and sectoral reforms.
