New Delhi, Feb 03: Integral Coach Factory (ICF), the largest coach-producing facility globally and a key production unit of Indian Railways, has achieved a historic milestone by rolling out its 80,000th coach since 1955.
This coach is part of the Amrit Bharat Coach series, symbolizing ICF’s innovation and growth over seven decades. ICF produces a variety of advanced rolling stock, including EMU and DEMU trains, luxury tourist coaches, and high-speed trainsets, while enhancing passenger comfort and integrating new technologies.
The factory has a global export footprint and has received accolades for quality, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility. General Manager U. Subba Rao commended employees for their dedication, acknowledging the milestone as a testament to ICF’s innovative spirit and its vital role in the future of Indian Railways.
