Mr. Jyoti Kumar, General Manager (Corporate Communications) at GAIL (India) Limited, spoke about the significance of the GAIL Pavilion at India Energy Week 2026 in Goa.
He described India Energy Week as a powerful global platform that brings together energy leaders, innovators, and policymakers from across the oil, gas, hydrogen, renewables, and LNG sectors, enabling discussions on the future of energy and sustainability.
At the pavilion, GAIL highlighted its advancements in clean energy and technology, including hydrogen production initiatives such as the PEM electrolyser at its Bijapur facility that produces around 4.3 tonnes of hydrogen per day. She also spoke about the company’s use of digital technologies—including AI, automation, and SCADA systems—to optimise gas pipeline infrastructure, logistics, and operational efficiency.
Kumar emphasised that GAIL’s focus on innovation and technology reflects its commitment to sustainable growth and achieving its net-zero goals, and how initiatives like workforce AI training demonstrate the company’s future-ready approach toward energy transition challenges.
