New Delhi, Oct 13: The Women in Public Sector (WIPS), Neyveli Ladies Club and the NLCIL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), jointly organised a program yesterday (12-10-2023) to provide welfare assistance to the school for the Speech and Hearing impaired at Konankuppam, village at Vriddhachalam taluk.
Smt. Radhika Prasannakumar, President, Neyveli Ladies Club presided over the function and inaugurated the programme. Patrons of Neyveli Ladies Club, Smt. Manjula Mohan Reddy, Smt. DivyaSuman, Smt. Manisha Swarup and Smt. ChitraVenkatachalam participated in the event.
Textbooks, notebooks, necessary stationery items and school bags were distributed to the children studying at KonankuppamDifferently abledSchool. Later, over a hundred school children were served lunch.
Ramachandran CGM/CSR, Dr.DhariniMouli CGS/NLC GH, Dr. S. Vijayakumari CMO/NLC GH & President, WIPS, Neyveli Chapter, Neyveli Ladies Club members, Office Staff, School Teachers and all the Students participated in the function. During the event, cultural programmes were presented by the students of the school.
