National Conference On Traditional And Alternative Medicine- Dr.A.K.Gupta Invited

Hon’ble Minister of State Ministry of AYUSH Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai Kalubhai inaugurated the National Conference on Traditional and Alternative Medicine was held on 19th July 2023 at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi organised by ASSOCHAM.
Theme of the Conference was Exploring New Horizons and Advancements.

Conference was attended by the delegates and doctors of Ayurveda, Unani and Homoeopathy and Pharma Industry of many stalls of Ayurveda were there and Homoeopathy was represented by only Dr. Willmar Shwabe. Hon’ble Minister and Dr .Blossom Kochhar, Co-Chairperson, ASSOCHAM National Wellness Council and Chairperson, Aroma Magic Pvt. Ltd. Dr. Vivek Srivastava of Zeon Lifescience Ltd., Mr. Madhusudan Chauhan CEO Jiva Ayurveda and Mr. Abhishek Ramesh Co-Chairperson ASSOCHAM National Wellness Council and Executive Director, Kairali Ayurveda Group lighted the lamp.

Hon’ble MOS AYUSH Dr. Manjupara said that there is a very rapid growth in the market industry of AYUSH Medicines not only in India but all around the Globe.He emphasised the importance of AYUSH in treating many difficult diseases. He isited all the stalls and interacted.

Mr. Atendra Singh Zonal Head of Dr.Willmar Shwabe and Dr.A.K.Gupta, Founder Director AKGSOVIHAMS and President Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, Delhi State discussed with Hon’ble MoS Mininistery of AYUSH Dr.Manupara Mahenderabhai Kalubhai about the development and emphasised and appealed that Homoeopathy should be given its due place in AYUSH. Then the Minister said about the Sugar Free Preparations of Homoeopathy should be introduced to other doctors also.

Certainly it seems to be the need of hour that Integrated approach should be adopted for the welfare of the patients and humanity at large. As every medical system has got something to offer and is good at but simultaneously has it’s limitations also. Entire medical fraternity should shun away their Ego and criticism of other systems of medicines due to ignorance of the benefits of other so called Alternative Systems of Medicines .

It has been seen that these systems of medicines work as Complimentary medication in the treatment of Critical and difficult cases where the Integrated approach of treatment helps the patient to recover and also works as Palliative said Dr. A.K.Gupta, who pioneered the concept of Integrated approach way back in 1999 as AKGsOVIHAMS ( Om Vidya Institute of Homoeopathy and Allied Medical Sciences) was the first ever Centre to cater various medical systems for the welfare of the patients for which it got it’s name in Limca Book of Records too.
