New Delhi, Aug 11 President Droupadi Murmu administered the Oath of Office to the vice-president of India Jagdeep Dhankhar at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday. Former West Bengal Governor and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar got elected as India’s 14th vice-president on August 6 after defeating the opposition’s candidate, Margaret Alva.
