Thousands of students from the Cockroach Janata Party are protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. They’ve stayed at the site for three weeks now. They want Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister for Education, to resign. This protest started because the NEET-UG 2026 exam paper leaked. The leak affected nearly 2.27 million students across India. The government cancelled the exam they scheduled for May 3.
The protest is growing very fast. People from different parts of India now send food to the students. Even people living outside the country send meals. They use online delivery apps like Swiggy and Zomato to order food. Delivery drivers arrive all day. They bring pizzas and burgers. One supporter in the United States ordered 80 pizzas for the students. It’s a massive operation.
Police placed heavy barricades at the corner of Tolstoy Marg and Sansad Marg. But the delivery drivers keep coming anyway. One driver said he went to the protest site 20 times in a single day. Another driver brought burgers that a supporter ordered from another country. Volunteers like Ayush Rai and his brother spend hours carrying these food boxes. They walk from the police barricades straight to the students.
Right now, the students have an avalanche of food. It’s hard to share the food evenly because there’s just too much of it. Many local groups are also helping out. The Hemkunt Foundation cooked a massive dinner for over 10,000 people. This dinner showed how much the public supports the students’ cause.
Some people raised questions about the funding and food safety of these large donations. But the students don’t plan to stop. They say they’ll continue their protest until the government meets their demands.
