Lokendra Singh Khadiya, a student from Jhabua, wants his exam marks back. He spent two years in Indore. He studied hard for the big medical entrance exam, NEET.
He sat for the special re-exam on June 21, 2026. On July 14, the testing agency, NTA, put the answer sheets online. Lokendra logged into his personal account to check his work.
At first, he saw only blank spaces in the physics and chemistry sections. He quickly logged out and then logged in again. This time, the system displayed his marked answer sheet.
He used the official answer key to count his score. He scored 104 marks in physics, 125 marks in chemistry, and 76 marks in biology. His correct answers added up to 305 marks.
Yet, the final report from the agency on July 16 gave him only 64 marks. This bizarre gap cost him 241 marks. The sudden loss ruined his hope to enter medical school.
He emailed the agency right away to fix the error. The agency did not answer him. So, Lokendra took his battle to the court in Indore.
His lawyer, Abhinav P. Dhanodkar, told the court about the weird computer glitch. The student wants the judges to inspect the original answer sheet. He also challenges the legal right of the NTA to run these tests.
Two judges, Justice Subodh Abhyankar and Justice Alok Awasthi, heard the case. They asked the central government to explain this huge mismatch. The court will meet again next week to discuss the case.
