New Delhi, May 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 134th episode of his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday, with the broadcast scheduled at 11 a.m. across Akashvani, Doordarshan and official digital platforms.

The programme, which has become a regular platform for public outreach and discussion on social, cultural and developmental themes, will be aired nationwide through All India Radio (Akashvani), DD News and government digital channels.

The upcoming broadcast follows the 133rd episode aired in April, during which the Prime Minister highlighted the National Archives of India’s digital initiative, the Abhilekh Patal Portal, aimed at improving public access to historical records.

PM Modi had noted that the portal provides access to more than 20 crore digitised archival documents, including rare manuscripts and historical texts, reflecting the growing role of technology in preserving and connecting India’s heritage.

During the previous address, the Prime Minister also recognised Sanjana Philo Chacko, a Class 12 student from Thiruvananthapuram who secured a silver medal at the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) 2026, highlighting India’s emerging academic talent.

He additionally drew attention to Kalari cheese of Jammu and Kashmir, describing it as part of India’s cultural heritage and noting its growing global recognition, a mention that reportedly boosted interest and demand for the traditional product.

‘Mann Ki Baat’, launched in 2014, continues to serve as a key communication platform through which the Prime Minister addresses citizens on subjects ranging from innovation and culture to social initiatives and national achievements.
