New Delhi, May 01: Noida International Airport will commence commercial flight operations from June 15, marking a significant development in aviation infrastructure for North India.
The launch follows the airport’s inauguration by Narendra Modi and the approval of its Aerodrome Security Program by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, confirming that all safety systems and operational protocols meet regulatory standards.
With regulatory clearances in place, the airport is set to emerge as a key aviation hub for the National Capital Region, offering enhanced connectivity for passengers, airlines, and cargo operators.
The commencement of operations is expected to reduce congestion at existing airports in the region while expanding travel options for flyers.
IndiGo will operate the inaugural flight, followed by services from Akasa Air and Air India Express. Detailed schedules and route networks are expected to be announced shortly.
Designed to meet growing air travel demand, the airport features modern terminal infrastructure, efficient operational systems, and strong multimodal connectivity, enabling seamless passenger movement and cost-effective airline operations.
The start of commercial services is also expected to drive regional economic growth by boosting tourism, trade, and investment across North India, positioning the airport as a critical enabler of future aviation expansion.
