New Delhi, Sept 06: VAdm Suraj Berry, Chief of Personnel, attended Teachers’ Day celebrations at NCS Delhi on 05 September 2023 as Chief Guest. Others present on the occasion were VAdm K Swaminathan, Controller Personnel Services, Commodore G Rambabu, Commodore (Naval Education), officers from Naval Headquarters and INS India, representatives of the Parents-Teachers Association and the School Management Committee; and teachers of NCS Delhi, Sankalp and Little Angels schools of Delhi Area.
During the event, VAdm Berry presented Long Service Awards to six teachers from NCS Delhi who dedicated themselves to the noble cause of education for 10, 20 and 30 years. In his inspiring address, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to teachers of the school and underscored the pivotal role they play nurturing future leaders of the nation.
He also stated that the society owes a huge debt of gratitude to teachers for instilling a strong value system among students and contributing immensely to nation building.
