CISF detected yellow metal paste (appears to be gold ) weighing about 1740 gm at NSCBI Airport, Kolkata

08cisf coverOn 08.09.2021 at about 1250 hrs, Sub Inspector Ajay Singh Rathore of  CISF deployed at frisking point of Security Hold Area No.1, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata noticed suspicious activities of a passenger while the passenger was walking towards the frisking point for pre-embarkation checking.

The CISF personnel conducted thorough search of the passenger and detected, two (02) packets of yellow metal paste  (appears to be gold) weighing about 1740 gms which were concealed under his clothes in groin area. The passenger was later identified as Ali Mohd,  R/o Nagaur, Rajasthan who was supposed to travel to Delhi by flight No. G8-102 (STD-1350 hrs).

On enquiry, the passenger  revealed that the yellow paste metal  is gold. The matter was informed to Senior Officers of CISF and Customs officials. On arrival of the Customs officials, the passenger alongwith the recovered 02 packets of yellow metal paste  weighing about 1740 gms  was handed over to the Customs officials for further legal action in the matter.
