New Delhi, Jan 9 India’s high commissioner to Sri Lanka, Y.K. Sinha, will attend the swearing-in ceremony of president-elect Maithripala Sirisena in Colombo Friday evening.
This was stated by external affairs ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin. Sirisena defeated Mahinda Rajapaksa in the presidential race held Thursday.
