New Delhi, June 21: RailTel has been awarded the ET Government PSU Leadership & Excellence Award 2025 (Gold) in the category of “Reinforcing Communication & Bridging the Digital Divide.”

The award was presented during the ET Government National PSU Summit 2025 to recognize the contributions of public sector undertakings across the country.

RailTel received this recognition for its home internet service, RailWire, which provides affordable internet access in underserved areas. RailWire’s model supports local entrepreneurs as last-mile service providers and helps build digital infrastructure in remote communities.

This award highlights RailTel’s ongoing efforts to expand digital access and its aim to connect every part of India through dependable and accessible internet services.
