12th GRADUATION DAY CEREMONY AT JAWAHAR SCIENCE COLLEGE, NEYVELI

New Delhi, Sept 20: Jawahar Science College, Neyveli, patronized by NLC India Ltd., and governed byJawahar Education Society conducted the 12^th Graduation Day today, 18.09.24, for the graduates of the academic year 2021 & 2022 of Thiruvalluvar University,Vellore,withgrandenthusiasmandprideatthecollege’sSeminarHall.Theeventmarkedasignificant milestone in the academic journey of 449 young graduates who were awardeddegrees in variousdisciplines.

The ceremony was presided over by Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairmancum Managing Director/NLC India Ltd., & Chief Patron/Jawahar Education Society.In his graduation address, he emphasized the role of education in empoweringyouth and shaping the future. He urged the young graduates to take advice from their parents,and teachers. He added, “While moving on in life, you should not dwell on your failures;instead, find out the cause of those failures and move forward towards success.” He alsohighlighted the strong connection between academic excellence and the development of thenation,encouragingthenew graduates tocontributepositivelytosociety.

Dr. Suresh ChandraSuman, Director (Mines)&(Project & Planning) (AC)/NLCIL, Samir Swarup, Director (HR)/NLCIL and M Venkatachalam, Director (Power)/NLCIL, offered their felicitations and extended their congratulations to the graduates, offering valuable insights and words of encouragement.

Earlier, the program began with a formal declaration of the Graduation Day by O. S.Arivu, Assistant Secretary/JawaharScience College, followed by a warm welcome addressby I. S. Jasper Rose, President/ Jawahar Education Society & ExecutiveDirector/Mines and Land/NLCIL. S. RajmohanSecretary/Jawahar Science College &ExecutiveDirector/NLCILpresented theAnnualReportfor theacademicyear 2023-2024.

The Principal of the college, Dr. D. Gift Christopher Dhanaraj, administered the graduation pledge, reminding the students of their responsibility towards society and the importanceof upholding ethicalvalues in their profession allives.

As part of the academic tradition, the Heads of Departments presented thecandidates,afterwhichthedegreeswere conferred.Theceremonyconcludedwiththevoteofthanks delivered by DVSN Murthy, Secretary of Jawahar Education Society &Executive Director /Legal, GH & CSR/NLCIL, followed by the National Anthem.
