NTPC Bongaigaon Celebrates Teachers’ Day at Notre Dame Academy & Ankur Tiny Tots

New Delhi, Sept 05: Teachers’ Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Notre Dame Academy, Salakati (EWA Campus) and Ankur Tiny Tots, NTPC Bongaigaon, honouring Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. At the EWA Campus, Principal Sister Manju and teachers oversaw student cultural performances.

Teachers received tokens of appreciation from Anurag Gupta, General Manager (O&M), NTPC Bongaigaon, and Smt. Kasturi Maitra, President, Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club. Gupta highlighted teachers’ role in societal values, and Amit K. Asthana, Head of HR, spoke on inspirational educators.

At Ankur Tiny Tots, floral tributes were paid to Dr. Radhakrishnan, and teachers were felicitated by Smt. Maitra and the Ladies Club. Smt. Maitra acknowledged teachers’ dedication in nurturing children. The celebrations included fun games for teachers and a teacher quiz by students. Dignitaries including Sushil Kumar, AGM (CCD), and Manish Kumar, Sr. Manager (C&I), along with parents, attended. Both schools’ students presented cultural programmes, making the event memorable.
