MRPL hands over Motorised Scooters to PwDs worth Rs 21 Lakhs in Mangalore

MRPL hands over Motorised Scooters

May 19, 2025 – As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), in association with the District Disability Department, GoK, Mangalore,distributed Motorised 3-Wheeler Scootersworth Rs 21 Lakhsto Nineteen Persons with Disabilities (PwD) in DK District.

The handing over ceremony was held during the inauguration of PrajaSoudhaat Padilon May 16, 2025, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries.

The initiative aims to empower beneficiaries by enhancing their mobility and enabling greater self-reliance in day-to-day activities and livelihood efforts. The recipients, most of them hailing from the surrounding villages of MRPL, have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to MRPL for this noble cause and the positive impact the vehicles will have on their independence and quality of life.This initiative underscores MRPL’s commitment to inclusive community development through impactful CSR programs.
