New Delhi, Jan 29: 2025 is a Golden Jubilee year of The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India ( HMAI), largest association of Homoeopathic doctors is proud to share that in this auspicious year Dr. Vilas Dangre has been conferred with the PADMASHRI AWARD who is also a Life Member of HMAI in recognition of his dedicated social service to humanity through Homoeopathy said the Secretary General Dr.A.K.Gupta.

Dr.Vilas Dangre of Nagpur is celebrated as a doctor who has lived a life of remarkable discipline and dedication.

Born in 1954 in the small town of Chandurbazar, few would have predicted the profound impact he would have on the world.

Dr. Dangre earned his degree from Nagpur Homoeopathic College. At a time when modern medical education was highly coveted, Dr. Dangre, driven by a deep sense of service, chose a different path. He embraced homeopathy with confidence and helped elevate its status. Many allopathic doctors, when unable to find solutions for their patients, turn to Dr. Dangre with great hope, and he never lets them down.

Dr. Dangre completed his homeopathic education in 1976. His brother-in-law, Dr. Prabhakar Bhoyar,
ala skilled homeopath, ran a clinic near Ayachit Mandir, where Dr. Dangre practiced for a while before establishing his own clinic in Surendranagar. From day one, Dr. Dangre separated his profession from financial gain, and luxury never held any allure for him. Informed Dr. Gupta.

Balancing the responsibilities of his brother-in-law’s clinic, his own practice,caring for his aging parents, and participating in social service, Dr. Dangre always put others before himself. In addition, he fulfilled numerous roles within the RSS, serving as the Area Head for many years. Currently, he holds the position of Chairman of Shri Narkesari Publications, which runs the newspaper Tarun Bharat.

Whether it was social work, family obligations, or organizational duties, Dr. Dangre approached everything with unwavering commitment. His ever-present smile remains his greatest strength. Inspired by the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Maa Sharada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda, he incorporated their values into his life. His decision to remain celibate was a reflection of his complete devotion to serving his parents, society, and patients. Over the years, it is estimated that Dr. Dangre has cured not just thousands, but lacs of patients.

Generations of families seek his diagnosis and treatment, and with just one visit, they leave healed and at peace. Dr. Dangre builds personal relationships with each of his patients, showing care for their family members and listening to their stories.

Dr.Dangre treats all his patients with the same compassion and care. Few years ago, Dr. Dangre faced a serious health challenge—he suffered from a brain condition that impaired his vision. But even then, he did not lose hope. He returned to his practice and continues to see 250-300 patients daily informed the Secretary General HMAI.

Throughout his career, Dr. Dangre was offered many prestigious positions and even invitations to enter politics, but he humbly declined, choosing to stay focused on his mission of service without distractions.
He has mentored countless young doctors in his Nagpur clinic, helping them succeed.

These doctors continue to express their gratitude, but Dr. Dangre never allows his role as a mentor to inflate his ego. Patients travel from towns and states far and wide, often waiting in long lines just to see him. Dr. Vilas Dangre is a beacon of kindness and selflessness, living a humble life like a squirrel tirelessly gathering to give to others. His patients have an unwavering faith in his treatments, and when diagnosing them, Dr. Dangre silently prays for their recovery. Whether treating prominent leaders, industrialists, doctors, or ordinary people, his approach remains the same for everyone—equal care and compassion.
