Dedication to the Nation of HPCL LPG Bottling Plant at Matia Distt. Goalparain Assam

Matia, District:Goalpara, Assam, April 12: Rameshwar Teli, Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Labor & Employment, Government of India, dedicated the HPCL LPG Bottling Plant at Matia, District Goalpara in Assam, to the Nation on 12^th April 2023.

Through this plant of HPCL in North East India, LPG Cylinders will be supplied to about 8 lakh consumers through appx. 75 HPCL LPG Distributors in the states of Assam, Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya.

Chairman and Managing Director of HPCL, Pushp Kumar Joshi in his welcome address informed that HPCL has constructed this LPG Bottling Plant of 30 TMTPA capacity at Industrial Development Center, Matia, District Goalpara situated on 30 acres of land with various state-of-the-art facilities, at a total project cost of approx. Rs. 70 crores.

Hon’ble Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Labor and Employment, Government of India, Rameshwar Teli in his address said this HPCL LPG Plant will start a new chapter of development and progress in Assam.

This will improve the quality of life of the local people and boost the local economy. He also mentioned that at a time when the whole country is celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, dedication to the Nation of his LPG plant will ensure uninterrupted LPG supply in the region. Executive Director In-charge – LPG Anuj Kumar Jain thanked Hon’ble Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Labor and Employment, Government of India Rameshwar Teli along with other dignitaries for gracing the occasion.
