HUDCO provides hot meals to devotees at the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025

Devotees throng the HUDCO CSR AnnadaanCentre (Food Donation Centre) at Maha Kumbh 2025

22^nd January, 2025 Prayagraj: Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman and Managing Director #HUDCO, along with his team of officers, visited the free meal distribution facility set up under HUDCO’s CSR Programme, at the #MahaKumbh Mela 2025 and participated in distribution of meals.

Free meals are being provided every day for 50 days,through temporary and mobile kitchens operated by the Akshaya Patra Trust. This initiative particularly serves the elderly and underprivileged devotees, from across the country and abroad.

The HUDCO CSR project has supported setting up of a temporary community kitchen in the Maha Kumbh area by funding the procurement of various kitchen equipment and other items.

After completion of the Maha Kumbh, kitchen equipment shall be shifted to nearby kitchens/ facilities of the Akshay Patra Foundation that supply mid-day meals to schools and similarlargescale events.

Kulshrestha expressed satisfaction and reiterated HUDCO’sremains commitment to supporting social welfare initiatives and contributing to the success of such large-scale cultural and religious events.
