Covid emergency phase closer to end but Omicron transmission remains: WHO

Geneva, Dec 3 (IANS) The World Health Organization (WHO) said that although the world is “much closer” to end the emergency phase of the Covid-19 pandemic, it warned that Omicron was still circulating rampantly and continues to cause significant mortality. “We
