PM of India dedicates three BHEL-commissioned Hydro Power Projects to the Nation


Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, dedicated three Hydro Electric Projects (HEP) in Himachal Pradesh, representing 1,732 MW of generating capacity, to the nation today. 

Significantly, all the three power projects, Koldam HEP (4×200 MW) of NTPC, Parbati HEP Stage-III (4×130 MW) of NHPC and Rampur HEP (6×68.67 MW) of SJVN, are equipped with generating equipment supplied and commissioned by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). 

Acharya Devvrat, Governor of Himachal Pradesh; Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh; J.P. Nadda,  Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare;  Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of State (I/c) for Power, Coal, New & Renewable Energy and Mines; Sujan Singh Pathania, Minister of MPP & Power, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh and other eminent dignitaries were present on the occasion.
