The Prime Minister of India, in his capacity as ex-officio President of CSIR, has nominated ONGC Chairman and Managing Director Dinesh K Sarraf as member of the prestigious governing body of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
Mr Sarraf has been nominated to the governing body of CSIR for a period of three years. The governing body is the apex body of CSIR for all decision making processes.
CSIR is a leading scientific R&D organization set up with a mandate to promote guide and coordinate scientific and industrial research in the country with its 38 R&D laboratories and Institutes. Eminent and learned personalities from various fields are nominated to the governing body as members.
