This service shall serve as a lifeline in the region till road connectivity is restored
New Delhi, Sep 06 To aid the stranded passengers owing to incessant rains and flash floods of district Reasi and Ramban and roads getting damaged, Northern Railway has come to respite by planning a pair of local passenger train service connecting SVDK Katra station to Sangaldan station via Reasi, Bakkal and Dugga stns and back for the next 5 days from 8/9 to 12/9 (timings attached).
The service shall provide immediate relief to the stranded passengers and will help restore the critical connectivity and will surely serve as a lifeline till road connectivity is restored.
