NLC honoured with Master Brand Award


New Delhi : The Chief Marketing Officer Council and its Asia Regional Advisory Board jointly presented Master Brand Award to NLC for its standout. Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council is a world level forum with 7000 plus members in more than 110 countries. The council has seven regional advisory boards in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, India and Asia Pacific. This Council usually honouring the organizations which builds an image in the minds of the consumers and target groups with Master Brand Awards.

The 5th edition of Master Brand Awards Presenting Ceremony was conducted at the ‘World Marketing Congress’ organized by CMO Asia and CMO Council at Taj Lands Ends, Mumbai on 14.11.2014. NLC was honoured with the prestigious ‘Master Brand Award’ and Shri Donovan Neale-May, Executive Director CMO Council, USA presented the Award to B. Surender Mohan, CMD, NLC Limited.

Till the last millennium, NLC restricted its activities within Neyveli. In the recent years, NLC expands its activities in Rajasathan, Uttarpradesh, Odisha and Thoothukudi, the south part of Tamil Nadu. Moreover NLC is planning to acquire coal blocks in foreign countries to feed fuel to its coal -based Thermal Power Stations. These activities make NLC as a National player and created an image in the minds of all people of the Nation. Recently, NLC released its flag and theme songs and modified its logo for getting popularity among consumers. These efforts made NLC to win the prestigious Master Brand Award
