New Delhi, Nov 21 India and Nepal will sign an agreement on tourism during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s forthcoming visit to the country, the government said Thursday.
The approval for signing of the memorandum of understanding was given by the union cabinet at a meeting chaired by Modi Thursday, an official release said.
The MoU is proposed to be signed during Modi’s visit Nov 25-28.
The signing of the agreement will help India increase foreign tourist arrivals from Nepal. This in turn will result in economic development and employment generation, it said.
