The Institution of Engineers (India) awarded B. Surender Mohan, CMD, NLC with the “Best Industrial Relations Award” on 19.12.2014 during the 29^th Indian Engineering Congress at Hyderabad.

During the   Inaugural function of the 29^th Indian Engineering Congress B. Surender Mohan, CMD, NLC was conferred with the “Best Industrial Relations Award”. The award was presented by the Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana ESL Narasimhan in the presence of Er. Ashok Kumar Basa, FIE, President, the Institution of Engineers (India) and Dr. L V Muralikrishna Reddy, President-Elect, the Institution of Engineers (India). The award was instituted by the Institution of Engineers, India for the best all round performance in formulating best industrial policies, practices and maintaining good industrial relationship.

Also in the same function Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd, Neyveli was recognized with the “IEI Industry Excellence Award 2014” for the Business excellence and industry practices in manufacturing and Processing – (Category- Turnover of Rs 1000 Crore and above) and it was received by Shri B. Surender Mohan, CMD, NLC from Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Shri E S L Narasimhan.

The Congress Cum Exhibition is being organized by the Institution of Engineers, Andhra Pradesh, State Centre. NLC had put up a stall at the exhibition, showcasing its performance and achievements.
