New Delhi, April 02 : Ravi Prakash Singh has assumed the charge of Director (Personnel) of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) on 1st April, 2012. Prior to taking up this assignment, he was heading the Easter Region –II office in the capacity of Executive Director.
Mechanical Engineer by profession he also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Singh has more than 30 years of experience in multifarious areas like Construction, Operation & Maintenance, Human Resource, Contracts & Materials and Telecom etc. at Corporate Centre, Regional Headquarters and sites of POWERGRID. Before joining POWERGRID in 1991, he had worked in power major NTPC Ltd. for around 10 years.
