PNB has bagged the prestigious ‘Most Productive Public Sector Bank’ Award 2011, instituted by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Indian Banks’ Association (IBA).
The Award was received on behalf of the Bank by K R Kamath, CMD and Sushma Bali, GM from Prithviraj Chavan, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, during the FICCI – IBA Conference (FIBAC 2011) on Productivity Excellence, recently held at Mumbai.
Bank was adjudged as the most efficient user of all the inputs into the Banking Business including financial and human Capital while at the same time not compromising on capturing growth opportunities.
This award is an acknowledgement of Bank’s all-round excellence in managing all aspects of productivity essential in Banking, from operating cost to Risk Management to Capital efficiency.
