New Delhi, April 18 : In what can be termed as a strong statement and a reaffirmation of ONGC’s commitment to green and sustainable energy ventures, ONGC Energy Centre signed a ‘Collaborative Agreement’ with M/s Natural Power Concepts (Hawaii, USA) for Kinetic Hydro Power Project.
Sudhir Vasudeva, CMD, ONGC, presided over the formalisation of the Agreement between the two companies. The Project is aimed at generation of power from the kinetic energy of the nation’s extensive and voluminous water bodies, thereby opening up possibilities for ONGC to play the role of a captive energy provider in the country’s many energy-starved and disconnected areas.
NPC’s technical expertise in this area could play an important role in delivering on ONGC’s commitment to Sustainability and green initiatives.
