 Pradeep Kumar takes over as Chairman NHAI

New Delhi October 10, 2006

1972 batch Haryana cadre IAS officer, Pradeep Kumar has taken over as Chairman, NHAI. He took over from Dr. Satyanarayana Dash, currently Member (Finance) who was holding additional charge as Chairman.

B-Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT (Delhi) and M.Sc in Economics and Social Studies from U.K. has held important positions in the Central Government and Government of Haryana and worked in the sector like Industries, Urban Development, Water Resources, Information Technology and Corporate Management.

Prior to his appointment he was Special Secretary in the Ministry of Coal.
