ONGC ties up with Maruti Udyog Ltd. for vehicle lease

Two leading Indian corporates, ONGC and Maruti Udyog Limited (MUL) inked an agreement on 09th October 2006 at ONGC, New Delhi for leasing vehicles under end-to-endscheme of Maruti Udyog Ltd.

ONGC has decided to initially lease 29 vehicles through MUL on pilot basis, 22 for its Mumbai Region and 7 for Delhi.

In the presence of Director (Human Resources) of ONGC, Dr. A K Balyan, the agreement was signed by

A K Bansal, Head – Corporate Logistics from ONGC and S N Burman, DGM – Institutional Sales from Maruti Udyog Ltd.

Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Balyan expressed his pleasure on signing this ever first agreement between ONGC & Maruti Udyog Ltd. and also stressed for quality services from MUL ensuring end-user’s satisfaction.

From MUL, Arun Malhotra, of Maruti Udyog Ltd. expressed MUL’s enthusiasm to achieve business agreement with petroleum major ONGC and assured its commitment for maintaining track record of consumer satisfaction
