NTPC- The Most Admired Organisation in Public Sector

T. Sankaralingam, Chairman and Managing Director, NTPC Limited, received the prestigious Expert Choice Award for “NTPC- the most admired organization in Public Sector” from Hon’ble Union Minister of Power Sushilkumar Shinde in New Delhi today. The Award is based on a survey conducted by Power Line magazine across a select group of professionals and sector experts.

R. V. Shahi , Secretary, Power also received the” Award for Biggest Individual Contribution to the Sector” on the occasion. Other winners were NDPL, AP Transco and Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission.

NTPC Limited is the largest power generating company in the country with 14 coal , 7 gas based and 4 JV projects with a capacity of 26404 MW. The company has an ambitious plan to be a 75000 MW+ Company by the year 2017.
