GSBA top rankers achievers award bestowed on Dr. A K Balyan, Director (HR), ONGC

The GSBA Top Rankers Achievers Award was conferred upon Dr. A. K. Balyan, Director (HR), ONGC at New Delhi this morning for his invaluable contribution in the field of management. In the various categories comprising, the Achievers section, Marketing, Finance and HR, Dr Balyan's contributions in overall management functions were aptly recognized for making a commendable mark not only in HR, but all other functions of management.

Elaborating he added that it is neither the physical assets nor the financial capital that are important, but what matters is the intellectual or the human capital, which plays the most significant role in providing the competitive edge. These help in creating value for the society and the same has been amply demonstrated by the fact that several smaller nations with limited natural resources have achieved high level of economic and business development than many nations endowed with rich natural deposits of various resources.
