SCHWING STETTER India bags Indo German chamber of commerce award

Receives Award from Mr. Praful Patel 

Award is for contribution to Indo-German Economic Relations

SCHWING Stetter India , a 100% subsidiary of SCHWING Stetter Gmbh, Germany, has bagged an award for outstanding contribution towards the promotion of Indo-German Economic Relations from Indo-German Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Anand Sundaresan, Managing Director, SCHWING Stetter India received the award from the Union Civil Aviation Minister Mr. Praful Patel.

On receiving the Award, Mr. Anand Sundaresan said, “With Indo-German bi-lateral trade set to touch a new pinnacle this year by recording growth of almost 21% during first half of 2005, we are proud for the part we played in Indo-German Economic Relations. We appreciate the efforts of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in instituting such an Award to motivate and honor the member corporates.”

A wholly owned subsidiary of the Euro 600 Million Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) equipment global giant SCHWING Group of Germany, SCHWING Stetter India Private Limited manufactures a wide range of Batching plants, Transit mixers and concrete pumps. Set-up in 1999 with an investment of Rs. 14 crores and an initial turnover of 8 crores, the company had undertaken expansion of Rs. 18 crores in 2004 and now sells equipment worth Rs.250 crores a year. SCHWING Stetter India today supplies RMC equipment to the Indian subcontinent and exports to 14 countries in the neigbourhood.
