Kazakhstan denies
destruction of ISKCON Temple
New Delhi, November 26, 2006
Kazakhstan has strongly denied allegations that any hindu
temple was demolished near Almaty recently.
Responding to a news channel report in this regard, Embassy
of Kazakhstan here issued a statement saying that Kazakhstan
Government has taken the allegations "very seriously" and has
set up an Inter Agency Commission to look into the matter.
The channel had on Nov 23, 2006 aired scene of destruction
of a house stating that the hindu temple was flagrantly
demolished by the Kazakh authorities.
