PNB Launches new
Mediclaim Insurance "AROGYA SHREE"
New Delhi November 15, 2006
K. Raghuraman, Executive Director of Punjab National Bank
launched a new product "PNB AROGYA SHREE" to provide Health
Insurance facility for its customers i.e. both Depositors as
well as Borrowers at competitive premium rates.
Initially Bank is offering the scheme in 64 select CBS
branches at three centers i.e. Delhi, Mumbai and Lucknow w.e.f.
15.11.2006.
U.S. Bhargava, GM (Retail) of PNB, Sudipto Roy, CEO, PNB
Principal IAC Pvt. Ltd., K.A. Somasekharan (President & CEO)
and Suagata Chatterjee (Head-Retail) from Reliance General
Insurance Co. (P) Ltd. alongwith several senior official from
the Institutions were present at the occasion.
To facilitate PNB customers, the Bank has tied up with M/s
Reliance General Insurance Co. Ltd., to obtain Medical
Insurance on payment of annual premium. The Policy covers the
account holder as well as spouse and two dependant children in
the age group of 3 months to 65 years without undergoing any
medical test.
PNB AROGYA SHREE policy, shall comprise of a composite risk
cover which shall include Medical expenses on Hospitalization,
Personal Accident and Critical Illness. Beneficiary of policy
can opt for the coverage in the range of Rs.50,000/- to
Rs.5,00,000/- under the composite cover.
