NTPC Team Bags Three Quiz Titles

New Delhi, May 19, 2009

NTPC team came second in the Concern India Foundation Quiz held at Delhi recently. The quiz had participants from around 24 teams consisting of leading corporates. NTPC team also came second in two other quizzes conducted recently. The team bagged the second prize in the Delhi round finals of the Brand Equity quiz held at Delhi on April 20, 2009 .

The quiz ,organized by Economic Times, had participants from 37 teams consisting of leading Corporates from all over Northern India. In the Iquation quiz conducted by Event Management group , the team again secured the second prize. The NTPC teams in these quizzes were represented by Sujit Varkey,K.M Prashanth, Chandan Shahi and Mohit Bhargava.

NTPC has a good quizzing culture and this has been used as an effective HR tool in acquiring knowledge and new skills so as to encourage a culture of learning amongst the employees of the company.
